Oak Ledged and Braced Door

This is a high quality engineered rustic oak, ledged and braced door. The inner boards are narrower than the outer rails. The boards are tongue and grooved with a V joint between them.

The door is constructed from solid timber over veneered with rustic oak veneers . This method of construction prevents warping, twisting and splitting in the doors.

The ledges and braces are screwed and plugged with oak dowels. Each door weighs approx 25 kg and is 40mm thick. Being a ledged and braced  door it would usually be hung with traditional T hinges.
